Walk on Virketvolden, the 2000-year-old rampart from the Iron Age, explore the stone labyrinth and enjoy the silence of nature in this ancient forest.
There are also many old oak trees. The most spectacular, however, must be the one that, after the storm in 1967, has formed a kind of portal over the path. The forest also has a wide variety of flora and fauna, so you can always discover something new.
The route is marked throughout, and it is possible to park in the three parking spaces: Hannenov Forest (east), Hannenov Forest (west) and parking lot Virkethuset.
