Experience the quite special mood of the Danish South Sea Islands in Larsens Plads Restaurant, only 200 m from the best bathing beach in Denmark. Larsens Plads is the biggest Restaurant and Inn on the South Sea Islands. The bar is from 1933 and here you can have a nice time in front of the fire place while you are served good food and drinks in exciting surroundings. At Larsens Plads you can enjoy the biggest and best buffet in Denmark (lunch and evening) or choose a menu from the varied menu card.

We do also have room for big parties and can always find a room with the right size and mood for your party. During the summer our big and cosy atrium garden are open with buffet and grill.

Next to the garden our playground with several amusements and games such as gokart and trampoline is situated. The beach is only 200 meters from the restaurant.

History
In 1919 Marielyst had its first grocer. His name was Laurits Hansen, and in a way he was the one, who made Marielyst market place. He expanded the business, so that it also included a restaurant. The central position at the market place in Marielyst lead to the fact that the store gradually developed into Larsens Plads, named after the last grocer of the place called Larsen.
