At the top of Fejø in the middle of the island's most beautiful nature, Hideaway lights up in its Italian colors and style. The atmospheric vineyard is the place where time flows unnoticed, while you can enjoy the surroundings, the food and the wines from the restaurant. The country house has an area of 2.3 hectares and contains a winery, restaurant, vineyard and one of Northern Europe's largest fig collections planted outdoors. In addition, there are cozy cabins for overnight stays and Mediterranean plants, such as cork oaks, columnar cypress, magnolias and flax palms.

The style is the Italian country kitchen including delicate salads. The ingredients are as much as possible organic ingredients from the local area. Eat your meal in the beautiful restaurant or in the courtyard under the fig trees.

Wines and Hospitality
The vineyard was established in 2006 and is thus one of Denmark’s oldest commercial vineyards. The key principles are organic and regenerative farming, craftsmanship, and a passion for flavor. The wines reflect the unique soil and the almost Mediterranean climate of the vineyard. Hideaway aims for the stars and delivers to Michelin restaurants and niche wine merchants.
Whether you visit the Trattoria for a delicious lunch, join a guided tour of the vineyard, biodiversity garden, and winery with a couple of wine tastings along the way, or settle in for a night in one of the charming vineyard cabins, you are at the center of it all.
